What we don't ask for
Ordinary play does not ask for your real name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), build device fingerprints, or share gameplay with advertising networks or data brokers.
We use our own optional statistics service rather than an advertising or third-party analytics SDK. A random installation identifier used for statistics is separate from your hardware identifiers and from online nicknames. It is pseudonymous, not a promise of complete anonymity.
What we process
Online play
During a matchWhen you play online, a room code, chosen nickname and live match state are exchanged through Supabase Realtime to connect the two players. Discly does not keep a historical server log of those matches.
Optional game statistics
Your choice · 3.0.0+Only if you enable sharing, the app sends a random installation identifier, random session and event identifiers, timestamps, app version, platform, screens, session information, tutorial choices, game modes and Arcade attempts and outcomes. Level type, stage, difficulty and flick count help us understand which parts of the game work well. Statistics are used to improve Discly and measure return visits, not for advertising.
No statistics identifier is created and no game-statistics events are stored or sent before consent. Sharing can be turned off in Settings. Test sessions in Discly Lab are excluded from product statistics. Apple and Google also provide separate aggregated store reports subject to their own availability and sharing choices; they are not matched to your statistics identifier.
Optional news notifications
Your choice · 3.0.0+If you choose Discly news in Settings and grant notification permission on your phone, we process a push delivery token, a random subscription credential, device platform, selected language and app version to send game news and updates. This choice is separate from game statistics and does not enable analytics. You can withdraw it in the app or revoke the phone permission. We do not request a token before your choice.
Discly Lab
Invitation only · 3.0.0+If you explicitly pair a phone with the owner's control panel, we process its chosen name, a random pairing credential, app and engine versions, connection status, selected test scenarios and diagnostic game-state snapshots. Only the owner can approve pairing and issue the built-in test commands. Test progress is separate from ordinary progress. Pairing does not require enabling product statistics.
Offline modes work without a server connection when optional statistics are off and the phone is not paired with Discly Lab.
Service providers
- Supabase provides online match transport and a separate private backend for optional statistics and Discly Lab. See the Supabase privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts discly.app and the owner's private control panel. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver optional game notifications. Delivery tokens and notification content pass through these providers. See the Expo privacy policy, Apple privacy policy and Firebase privacy information.
- Apple and Google provide the App Store, Google Play and aggregated store reports under their own terms and privacy practices.
Infrastructure providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect these services. We do not use that information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data retention
Online match broadcasts are temporary; Discly does not persist a match history. Ordinary progress, themes, sound settings and nickname stay on your device.
Optional raw statistics are retained for up to 190 days. Inactive statistics installation records are removed after that period. Turning sharing off stops new collection, clears the local queue and requests deletion of that installation's raw events. If you are offline, the withdrawal request is delivered when a connection is available. A protected withdrawal record prevents a delayed request from restarting collection.
Owner invitations expire after 15 minutes and work once. Legacy pairing codes expire after 10 minutes. Commands expire after 5 minutes; command history and diagnostic snapshots are retained for up to 30 days. Expired pairing and rate-limit records are cleaned up within a day. Push campaign history is retained for up to 30 days. Inactive push subscriptions are removed after 190 days. Disabling news stops new sends and requests removal of the delivery token; an offline withdrawal is retried when connected. A protected withdrawal record prevents delayed registration from restoring the old subscription. Provider delivery receipts do not establish that a person read a notification. Saved owner test scenarios and aggregated store reports remain until the owner removes them. Local test data and preferences remain until removed on the device or with the app.
Children's privacy
Playing Discly does not require an account or sharing game statistics. Optional sharing stays off unless it is explicitly enabled. If a parent or guardian believes a child has shared information without appropriate permission, turn sharing off in Settings and contact [email protected] so we can help address the request.
Your choices and rights
You can play without sharing statistics, withdraw sharing or news notifications in Settings, and disconnect a phone from Discly Lab. We do not require a player account to use these choices.
To ask about access, correction or deletion, contact [email protected]. Because statistics use a random identifier rather than your name or email, we may need your help identifying the relevant installation. We do not ask for more information than needed to handle a request.
Apple privacy disclosures
New versions with optional statistics declare the relevant installation-identifier and usage-data categories in their privacy manifest. They do not use those data for advertising or cross-app tracking. App Store privacy disclosures describe the app's collection practices in Apple's format; enabling a feature remains your choice in the app.
Changes to this policy
We update the date above when these practices change. New optional statistics are explained in the app before collection begins and require an explicit choice. Previously released versions that do not provide these features continue to operate as before.
